i am quite close to the beach but i cannot hear the waves. it still takes me some time to get to the beach but not too long. the sun is usually very harsh here, but with the cool wind and dry climate, the feeling is actually very pleasant. i would ride on my bike or just simply walking and i still could not believe that i am actually fortunate enough to be able to stay here for a year.
tonight i went to a pier and i saw the moonlight glistening on the ocean. i felt so peaceful.

today i actually have time to go to the town next to our school to get something to drink. as i was riding my bike back to my dorm, i cannot help but to go to the beach. it was absolutely gorgeous, with people surfing in the sea and the sun shinning bright.
